WHAT IS MORPHEUS8®?

Morpheus 8® can also be used for STRETCH MARK REMOVAL. At The Medspa@50th, we can create smoother, firmer, and more luxurious skin with stretch mark treatment with Morpheus8®.

Morpheus8® uses microneedling and radio frequency to stimulate collagen and elastin production deep within your skin and retexture the skin. It breaks up scar tissue and fibrous tissue to improve cellulite and stretchmarks. You’ll notice firmer skin with better elasticity. Morpheus8 penetrates deeper into the skin than other microneedling procedures in order to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate healthy skin. As a result, the appearance of stretch marks can be reduced, and your skin can have a naturally healthier tone. Depending on the size of the stretch marks and the condition of your skin it may take course of 3-5 treatments, about every 6-8 weeks apart.

WHY WE LOVE MORPHEUS8®

The Morpheus8® treatment does not involve any abrasive techniques, which means that phenomenal results are achieved without any harsh irritation. This revolutionary procedure does not require the use of a scalpel.

Due to the procedure’s non-invasive approach, there is little to no recovery following a Morpheus8® treatment. However, it is still recommended that patients expect 3-5 days of moderate facial skin swelling following their Morpheus8® treatment (not to worry – this is actually a good thing!).

The results of a Morpheus8® procedure are intended to be long-lasting and natural-looking. After the package of 3-4 treatments, we recommend one maintenance treatment every year to keep your results looking optimal.

Due to the procedure’s non-invasive approach, there is little to no recovery following a Morpheus8® treatment. However, it is still recommended that patients expect 3-5 days of moderate facial skin swelling following their Morpheus8® treatment. This may mean for some patients that they will be some social downtime. This means no makeup, etc. You can still work and function normally after the treatment.

The Morpheus8® procedure is an excellent alternative to dermal fillers and injectables. This treatment option can be used as an alternative to injectables, but it can also be used in conjunction with dermal fillers and neurotoxins to produce even better results.

FAQ

Good candidates are patients who would like to repair sagging cheeks, deep facial lines, and small deposits of fat on the face and neck. In other words, those who wish to reverse the signs of facial aging represent ideal candidates for a Morpheus8® treatment. However, as always, the best candidates are in good physical health and have realistic expectations regarding the outcome of their treatment.

YES! The radio frequency energy emitted by the Morpheus8® treatment can be adjusted so that it can be used on ALL skin types! We are so excited to be able to offer a skin treatment that can be used by everybody!

Like all procedures, Morpheus8® treatments come with the risk of potential complications. Dr. Patel and his care consultants have been expertly trained and certified to perform the Morpheus8® procedure and are always researching and learning from other industry leading physicians about new and advanced techniques. As such, the risk of a significant complication is extremely low.

Although Dr. Patel has not seen most of the risks listed below, these Morpheus8® complications have been reported:

Redness
In most cases, redness is resolved in the days after the procedure.

Swelling
As in the case of redness, the skin may appear flushed and swollen immediately after the procedure. However, this should subside within a few days. In most cases, redness is resolved in the days after the procedure.

Bruising
Bruising is typically imperceptible but can occasionally be visible after the surgery.

Yes! You may still be able to enjoy the benefits of Morpheus8® microneedling if you currently have wrinkle relaxers or dermal fillers. You should explain what you have and when the treatments were performed so that Dr. Patel or the certified Morpheus8® technicians can better assess your qualifications.
